About the Association

The Old Choristers Association predated the founding of Pilgrims' School in 1931. Jimmy Burchell set us up in our present incarnation in 1960 and I am just the seventh chairman over the past fifty eight years.

All former Choristers are most welcome to sing in the Evensong on Reunion Day.   This will be held prior to the dinner which is kindly hosted by the Pilgrims' School.

I would like to thank in particular the following for their contributions both to the website and their assistance in the running of the Association over the past few years. Michael Gordon, Andrew Snow, Peter Lockwood, Malcolm Green, Keith Ross, Paul Wing, Russell Brandon, Jonathan Louth, Neil Chippington, Rachel Girling, Barnaby Thwaites and John Crook.

Though some of the information about the Association is lost in the mists of time, we believe that the information below is reasonably accurate.   We welcome any additions and amendments.
